Características identificativas

  • Cor branca, amarela, laranja ou acastanhada.
  • As colónias formam lóbulos eretos semelhantes a dedos.
  • Pólipos  monomórficos.
  • A parte superior dos pólipos (Anthocodia) de cor branca trasnlúcida.
  • Presente em áreas de elevado hidrodinamismo, ao contrário de A. glomeratum que apresenta preferências por locais mais abrigados.
